What the tracker covers

UK Government Tracker brings together official figures on the economy, public debt, NHS waiting times and electricity generation, alongside statistics on immigration, crime, defence and support for Ukraine. It also follows bills, Commons votes, petitions and government announcements.

The site is an independent project maintained by its developer. It has no affiliation with the UK government, Parliament or a political party.

How the figures are maintained

Each tracker identifies its sources, reporting periods and geographic coverage. For example, NHS waiting-time figures cover England, and the electricity mix covers Great Britain. Charts link to the original releases and show the underlying figures in data tables.

Live feeds refresh automatically when their sources are available. Other series use dated published releases. The debt counter is an estimate based on published ONS balances. Blue and red chart bands mark the government in office. Public sector information is reused under the Open Government Licence where applicable.
